Die Texte werden auf Schweizerdeutsch gesungen – schliesslich kann sowieso niemand richtig Englisch –, mal tiefgründig, mal wütend, mal verwirrt oder ironisch, aber immer mit Humor und einem Augenzwinkern. Ihr Musikstil ist rau und experimentell, vielschichtig und voller Atmosphäre. Die Kombination aus harten Gitarrenriffs und spacigen Tape-Echo-Klängen verleiht Fenchel seinen einzigartigen Charakter.
